CASA DFL / EARTHWORKS SENSITIVITY STUDY

Raise the lower terrace. Reuse more earth.

The lower living floor, pool and surrounding ground rise 1 m; the roof and higher floors remain fixed. The waterway is not raised. Rear and upper ground transitions taper into the unchanged edges.

A 90% reduction in off-site disposal is a hypothesis to test. This calculation separates excavation, compacted fill, export and import. It is a concept comparison with inferred height registration and trial formation levels—not a verified contractor quantity.

Raised lower level

■ Cut · ■ Fill · darker = greater depth. White gaps are unsampled or outside the parcel. Maps show trial formation surfaces, including the pool excavation.

Does disposal fall by 90%?

Both controls are untested assumptions. Loose truck volumes require a separate bulking factor. An export reduction can coincide with importing suitable structural fill; this is not automatically a transport-cost saving.

Evidence and limits

Inputs: original 260617_CasaDFL_Estrutura_Terreno.ifc, architectural slabs, and the May 2024 topographic DTM. The IFC contains model terrain and structure, not certified cut/fill quantities. Original files and the published revision remain unchanged.
